![]() ![]() ![]() As a combination skin type I’m really curious to try out this new beauty product and see what it can do. It’s actually a finishing powder that can be applied also during the day whenever you need to retouch your makeup. It can be applied after your foundation and you won’t have to worry as it won’t transfer as a pink shade on your skin. This new 2-in-1 product is actually a new creamy powder that gives skin a healthy glow. YSL Touche Eclat Perfector – New – €40.00 It comes as a clear gel and will help you prep the skin for the next makeup step. After applying it the skin looks radiant, healthy and with a natural glow. YSL launches a new makeup base, actually it’s first with glowing effects. Brighter, Darling 7 years ago I have - it broke me out. International Launch Date – 25 February 2015 YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer – New – €38.00 NEW Product Review YSL Touche Éclat Blur Perfector Bree 7 years ago Have you tried the Hourglass primer Its my favorite and it really helps to blur imperfections and makes application smoother. The other product is Touche Éclat Blur Perfector which I will have a review up next week. You will find out more details if you keep reading after the break. Touche Éclat Blur Primer is among the two products recently added to the YSLs Touche Éclat line. Now we get to see two new products with high expectations: Touche Eclat Blur Primer and Touche Eclat Perfector. At first it was their new makeup collection, followed those beautiful limited edition Colour Variation Palettes, the Couture Mono Eyeshadow and let’s not forget the new addictive Black Opium (review) fragrance. On the negative side, being YSL, this is a luxury product and if you’re budget is tight, it may be that a primer is not the most indispensable thing in your make-up bag and you would prefer to invest more in a good foundation or concealer.I wonder how many new products will YSL release for spring 2015. Also, it is essential to follow the advice to wait a few seconds before applying foundation to ensure that the foundation glides on easily and lasts longer. However, I would recommend only applying a small amount (less than half a pump for your entire face), where needed as it can feel too greasy if you apply too much. I don’t suffer from break-outs but the primer claims to be noncomedogenic, and suitable for all skintones, including sensitive ones. My skin certainly felt softer and the foundation did glide on very easily. The primer is incredibly easy to apply and the serum-like texture does seem to help to blur imperfections. Enriched with nourishing oils and blur technology, this universal face primer prepares the skin for foundation application, creating. On the plus side, the packaging is very pretty and the pump bottle ensures that you don’t waste too much product, whilst keeping it hygienic. ![]() The formula is also enriched with four nourishing oils-corn oil, apricot kernel oil, passiflora oil, and rice bran oil to hydrate and soften skin. It incorporates ‘blur technology’ to minimise pores and even out skin tone, as well as two light diffusers to reflect and illuminate. The YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer is a transparent gel primer, which claims to even out the skin tone, blur imperfections and help makeup last longer. Turn on your JavaScript to view content Benefits Touche Eclat Blur Primer should be used after moisturising and before applying foundation to prep skin for foundation application by creating a ‘perfect’ canvas. YSL recommends applying with a brush or fingertips (needless to say I opted for my fingertips) and waiting ten seconds before applying foundation. Read on for more details about the primer and where to buy it. If you remember I already have the Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base by Burberry, which also serves as a primer, so I decided to try the YSL as a primer, and the Burberry, mixed in with my foundation to add a subtle glow and as a highlighter where needed. ![]() If you remember from my first beauty post, I don’t like to spend a lot of time on make-up, although I do like to look as good as I can! Also, I want a very natural result – like me but better! So, any product that makes it into my make-up bag has got to be easy to use but give a great and natural result and so I was very tempted by this illuminating primer which claims to blur imperfections and boost the radiance of foundation.ĭon’t be put off by the gold flecks in this primer, as although they are clearly visible in the bottle, they are not visible on application, which is good news as although I love a bit of sparkle in my clothes from time to time I really don’t want any on my face! Once blended, the shimmer disperses evenly over the face and just gives a subtle glow. ![]()
